The Landsbanki Selected Equities Fund ("Úrvalsbréf" in Icelandic) is tailored to investors wishing to invest in Icelandic equities listed on the Iceland Stock Exchange. The fund's benchmark is the OMXI-15 index, which is composed of the 15 largest and most actively traded companies on the Iceland Stock Exchange. The fund invests a minimum of 50% of its assets in listed shares on the Iceland Stock Exchange. The fund may invest up to 10% of its assets in other securities. The fund's objective is to outperform the OMXI6 index.
The Fund is an investment fund (non-UCITS) operating pursuant to Act No. 128/2011, on UCITS, Investment Funds and Institutional Investor Funds, and is supervised by the Icelandic Financial Supervisory Authority (FME). Investors should note that investment funds are less restricted in their investment policy than UCITS according to law. The Fund is managed by Landsbréf hf., a management company licensed to operate in Iceland and supervised by the FME. Landsbankinn hf. serves as custodian bank for the Fund.
