Arion Bank and Landsbankinn released Q1 financial results.

Icelandair released Q1 financial results.

According the LFS, unemployment was 2.9% in Q1.

The deficit in trade in goods was ISK 30.7bn in Q1.

The week ahead

The last of three main commercial banks, Íslandsbanki, will release earnings on Wednesday.

Three companies on the Icelandic stock exchange; Skeljungur (Tuesday), TM (Tuesday) and Reginn (Wednesday) will also report.

Landsbankinn installs rouble ATM in Smáralind

In anticipation of the FIFA World Cup in Russia in June, Landsbankinn has installed a rouble ATM in Smáralind. Many Icelanders will be attending the World Cup in Russia and roubles are generally not available in Iceland. The rouble ATM is located on the 2nd floor of Smáralind, next to the Smárabíó exit.

Applications for Pride Parade Fund now open

Applications for grants from the Pride Parade Fund of Reykjavík Pride and Landsbankinn are now open. The Pride Parade Fund is intended to support participation by individuals and groups in the Pride Parade of Reykjavík Pride festival which takes place 11 August this year.
