Customers able to change limit on credit cards in online banking and the Landsbankinn app

Landsbankinn’s customers can now adjust the withdrawal limit on their credit cards in the Landsbankinn app and online banking for individuals. The extent by which the limit can be raised is determined by a credit framework that automatically calculates credit authorisations.

For some time now, Landsbankinn’s customers have been able to adjust their overdraft and apply payment equalisation to credit card bills in online banking and the Landsbankinn app. Now customers can also adjust the limit on their credit cards.

This service is based on the automatic function of a credit framework, calculated for each individual customer. If customers require a higher limit than that specified by the credit framework, they can apply to raise the limit through the Landsbankinn app or online banking. The application is then processed by the Bank.
