GDP grew by 4.9% last year.

The CPI increased by 0.19% MoM in February, bringing headline inflation to 3.0%.

The surplus in trade in services was ISK 246.7 bn last year.

The surplus in trade in goods and services was ISK 86.5 bn last year.

Landsvirkjun released its financial statement for 2018.

The week ahead

Earlier today, the CBI released balance of payments, international investment position and external debt for 4Q 2018.

Beware fraudulent offers to recover stolen funds

Landsbankinn sees occasion to reiterate that the Bank does not partner with foreign companies or security consultants to recover fraudulently acquired funds. New cases have emerged where cyber criminals offer the victims of their fraudulent activity assistance under false pretences, claiming to work with Landsbankinn.
