Fixed rates on non-indexed 36-month housing loans decrease by 0.20 percentage points (pp) and fixed rates on non-indexed 60-month housing loans remain unchanged.
Variable rates on non-indexed housing loans decrease by 0.15 pp and other variable rates on non-indexed loans decrease by 0.10-0.25 pp in general.
Deposit rates on general current accounts remain unchanged and other deposit rates either remain unchanged or decrease by up to 0.25 pp.
Variable rates on inflation-indexed housing loans decrease by 0.05 pp and rates on inflation-indexed deposit decrease by 0.05 pp.
Landsbankinn's new interest rate tariff enters into effect on 15 November 2019.

Icelandair Group published traffic data for June. The collective bargaining agreement between Icelandair Group and the Icelandic Cabin Crew Association was declined. The Government Debt Management Agency published its monthly Market Information report. The Treasury released government accounts for 2019.

The CBI published the statement of the Financial Stability Committee, as well as a Financial Stability report. The CBI also released the minutes of the Financial Stability Committee’s meetings in March 2020. The Central Bank announced its intention to continue buying Treasury bonds in the secondary market in Q3.

Landsbankinn awarded fifteen students scholarships from the Bank’s Community Fund on 1 July. Scholarships were awarded for the 31st time and are in the total amount of ISK 6 million. This year, over 500 applications were received. Landsbankinn is the only domestic bank with a scholarship programme.
